It was running good then it started making a slight tapping noise that I thought it was possibly a collapsed lifter or lifter rod and it started running rougher. One of my friends says it’s possible a loose rocker arm, I’m not sure, it could be something real simple or not. I’ve had the car for a little over four years and only put about 760 miles on it. Everything works on it and as you can see in the pictures, it is a head turner. I physically can't work on it myself anymore and I haven’t looked into the problem any further."

@mkrmac – I am ready to bid on your Ford Fairlane, but i would like to asked does it have any oil leaks. Thanks Ken M ...

Hi Ken, The car had a very slight leak when I purchased it. In the 4 years that I've had the car I put on less than 700 miles on it. I had the new Power Steering Control Valve installed one of the hose connection started leaking slightly and I didn't get it back to the mechanic to have it tightened or replaced.

@allopez – Hi in your comments you mention that the AC system is new. Can you detail which items of the system are new and the month and year they were replaced? Do you have a record of receipts since before and after you owned it? Can you describe the make and model of the stereo that is included and what about the speakers, amps or other devices? I would like to see the vehicle in person on Sunday are you available, coming from West Covina, CA. Al Lopez [email protected] ...

Hi, I believe the Air condition unit was installed in 2018 with a Gen IV Magnum Heat/Cool Defrost Evaporator Kit” under the dash to meet the new environmental laws. I have some paper work mostly on the Gen IV magnum. I had run it a couple of times over the summer. The Radio I received with the car is a JVC KD-R370 and is still in the box. The dash does not accommodate a radio and I never tried to install. It would be great if you could come to see it, I am available Sunday afternoon. Contact me [email protected]

@mkrmac – Has the engine been rebuilt, is it power brakes, does the air condition work, how smooth driving say at 60 mph. Thanks Ken ...

It has front Disk brakes and the backs are drum, yes the air conditioner works and is upgraded to a Sanden A/C system. It drives nicely at 60 mph. When I first got it I had a new Steering Control Valve installed so the steering is tight and tracks well. I don't know if the engine has been rebuilt.
