@Jeff12345 – Hi bill, I did not build the truck so I can only answer your questions to the best of my knowledge. The front suspension is strut with disc brakes, the rear is a coil over 4 link with drum brakes. The frame is not fully boxed and I’ve had no issues with steering or uneven wear on the tires. The engine was swapped to a 383 5-6 years ago by a previous owner. I’m uncertain of how many miles the truck has driven since 2001 but the odometer reads 26,982. I hope this information is helpful. ...
Thanks for the info. Bill

@csgutz2003 – Why aren’t A/C compressor and ducting installed, but not hooked up? ...
That’s how I bought the truck, and putting the windows down was always good enough for me.
Why aren’t A/C compressor and ducting installed, but not hooked up?
@wholmes – Please describe the suspension front and rear. Leaf spring, multi link, etc Are their disc brakes front and rear? Is the frame custom. Is it boxed full length? The magazine article indicated the truck was finished in 2001. How many miles have been put on it since the completion? Is the steering geometry corrected for the wheelbase? The Camero doner car has a shorter wheelbase for the steering geometry. The article indicates the build had a 327 cid. Was the engine changed to get to 383 cid? Bill ...
