BID: $11,000
@AutoHunter_Info – Good morning, we understand there was a typo on the listing saying "SS", we have since corrected this mistake on 1/17/25 and reached out to the bidders to notify them. Sometimes the emails go to a junk folder, we also called and left you a VM. There is a reserve on this car and the value is far above 10k, the car will not be selling for the current high bid. If you ever need to reach AutoHunter you can find out contact info at the bottom of our web page, email us at [email protected] or call us at 480-845-6600, M-F 8am-5pm, MST Mountain Standard Time. Again we apologize for our typo and it is no fault of the dealer. Please call us if you need to discuss this further. AH Team ...
Thank you for your reply. I have checked my "junk mail" and have not seen anything from you but regardless, thank you for trying. I have been assuming the car would not sell for what I bid, but as the end date grows closer my concerns have increased. That is why I have asked that you remove my bid from the listing. I hope all this works out to my satisfaction, that we both consider lessons learned, and we can return to our previous good relationship. Thank you.
@yankeejsp – When I made my bid (Jan 15), this auto was falsely presented as a SS and was not corrected until two days later (Jan 17). In fact the initial picture in this very email still claims it to be a SS. I have requested through several means to have my bid retracted due to the misrepresentation of this auto, with no cooperation. I will NOT pay the bid price, or any price, of this vehicle due to "false advertising". ...

We didn't misrepresent anything pal. This is on the Auction house which I've told you already call and take it up with them. Something you clearly haven't done but want to continue to comment instead

Is that a dent on the driver side metal dash? Was this car originally advertised as a SS?

@kenmoparman – Good looking car. One question. Looking at all the photo's I noticed the fuel line to the carburetor is sitting on top of the exhaust header. Has this been fixed? ...
Great eye! This is being corrected
I owned a 65 Malibu SS. This has the wrong quarter emblems, wheel opening moldings missing, and evidently I'm blind, because I can't see the 138 code on the trim tag. According to the listing, the VIN begins with 136
