@RockyS – Any date of the restoration and were the mechanicals rebuilt? Any fluid weeps? How old is paint and are there any imperfections? Glass and stainless condition? Do all electrical items work? Thx ...
Hello. Like I tell everyone pull the pictures up on the biggest screen you have access to and that will give you a really good general idea of the car. I believe the restoration is about 15 years old. The car was used sparingly. It’s not a national award winner, but at the current price point that shouldn’t matter. The paint is extremely nice. The chrome and stainless are all extremely nice. There are no leaks. If I can help more please reach out directly by phone. 724-771-5169. Thanks!

Hello everyone! Thank you for taking the time to look, watch and bid on my 1966 Pontiac! It’s a very nice car, and I am available for any last minute questions. My direct phone number is 724-771-5169. I have lowered the reserve! The car is priced below the last few that have sold on other auction sites and there’s no doubt in my mind it’s just as good! Thank you.
@dougwillard06 – What a beautiful car. I have a few questions; 1. Is there documentation to prove that the mileage on the vehicle is original and not over 100K miles? 2. Does the A/C work correctly and has it been updated from Freon to one of the newer coolant fluids? 3. What is the age of the tires? 4. In your opinion, could one expect to drive the car several hundred miles to a new home without any work being required first? Thank you. ...
Hello! Thank you for the compliment. It is a beautiful car. 1. There is no documentation to support mileage. Truthfully, I’d assume the car has 131,xxx miles, but the site just goes by the odometer reading. The car has also been restored, so it’s not being sold as a ‘survivor’ with low miles. I feel like once a car has been restored the miles are a moot point. 2. The compressor on the AC works, but it does not blow cold. If the car hits the reserve I will have the AC serviced and working properly for the new buyer. 3. I do not know the age of the tires, however the car does have a new PA State safety inspection. The tires are not dry rotted or cracked and are in very nice shape. 4. I think the car would do fine on a several hundred mile trip. I do tell people to be realistic though with your expectations. It’s a 59 year old car and shit can definitely happen. I have a real job and play with cars as a hobby, but I always have 65-70 or so cars. I do not use them extensively. I have a full time mechanic and we service them to make them usable, but other than a few of my cars I do not tour in them. Not saying the car wouldn’t make it I’m just being honest. Thank you for your interest!
