This 1975 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray is powered by a modified and rebuilt 350ci V8 that put down 410 horsepower on a dynamometer in 2008. Fitted with a 3-speed automatic, the car was a recipient of a professional respray and features aluminum wheels, removable T-top panels, a dual exhaust system, and air conditioning. An appraisal conducted in 2011 which returned a valuation of $25,000 is included with the sale. Finished in Dark Red over a black leather interior, this C3 Corvette is offered with the appraisal, receipts for service and upgrades, and Alberta registration in the seller’s name.
This Corvette was professionally refinished in Dark Red (74) using a PPG tri-stage paint. The seller reports that the body was sanded after application of two coats of custom paint, followed by application of a custom black center on the hood, two small stripes along the cowl, and then clear-coated numerous times with a custom metallic. Features include signature C3 pop-up headlamps, removable color-matched T-tops, and body-colored bumpers with quad circular tail lights. A dual-exhaust system with polished tips exits below the rear bumper. All exterior finishes are in excellent condition per the seller, who notes garage storage and fair-weather use during their ownership.
Aftermarket five-spoke machined aluminum 15” wheels finished in black are wrapped in BFGoodrich Radial T/A raised-white-letter tires. Braking is assisted by power-operated discs.
The interior is dressed in all black with reupholstered leather bucket seats and door panels, color-matching dash, and carpeting. The seller reports that new OEM parts were used and that the interior shows extremely well. Amenities include power windows, air conditioning, tinted windows, and a center console with an armrest. There is a map pocket attached to the passenger side of the dash, and replacement speakers have been mounted in the footwell kick panels. The nonoperational Pioneer head unit shown in photos has been removed.
A 160-mph speedometer and 7,000-rpm tachometer are situated directly in front of the driver and viewed through the factory 3-spoke steering wheel. Additional gauges for fuel, oil pressure, coolant temperature, and a clock are fitted in the center stack. The five-digit odometer displays 78,000 chassis miles, but engine mileage is unknown.
Power is delivered by a fresh Phoenix Engine Power 3 350ci V8 engine mated to a Turbo 400 3-speed automatic transmission with an upgraded 2800 stall convertor. Edelbrock finned valve covers, an Edelbrock aluminum intake manifold, and a 650 cfm Holley carburetor have been added for better performance. The engine is reported to have put down 410 horsepower on a dynamometer in 2008, a large increase from the original power rating which ranged from 165 to 205 depending on which engine variant was selected.
The sale includes documentation on the build.
