Vehicle Story

This 1934 Chevrolet 2-door sedan was built as a show-quality cruiser in 2006 followed by the seller's purchase in 2020 and is now available for auction with less than 16,000 miles on the completed restoration. Powered by a Chevrolet small-block V8 paired with a 700R4 automatic transmission, the car features a custom leather interior, air conditioning, custom stereo, and aftermarket coil-overs. Recent refurbishments include a new battery, starter, water pump, a rebuilt carburetor, and more. Located in Claremore, Oklahoma, this 1934 Chevrolet hot rod is offered with a clean title in the seller's name.

Fresh Cadillac silver paint sourced from the aftermarket was applied during the restoration process in 2006 with custom pinstriping that runs along each side of the car in contrasting silver and blue colors. Addition exterior features include tinted windows, chrome period correct mirrors, chopped and shaved body lines, and a new windshield washer motor.

Ride height has been lowered by way of an aftermarket coil-over shock conversion on all four corners and what appears to be a custom chassis. Manual steering is equipped to handle a set of American Racing wheels wrapped in black-walled radial tires over mechanical front discs and drums in the rear.

The interior is outfitted in tan leather upholstery over the front buckets and rear bench seating sourced from Teas Design with tan carpeting, dash and door coverings to match. Refinements to the interior include an upgraded center console, lower dash panel, air conditioning, a Bluetooth-equipped stereo, and a kill switch.

Full Autometer instrumentation is framed by a custom leather-wrapped 3-spoke steering wheel and includes dials for fuel level, battery voltage, coolant temperature, and oil pressure alongside a 120-mph speedometer and 7k-rpm tachometer. Mileage displayed on the digital odometer shows a record for drive time since the build was completed which is reported to be about 15,700 miles.

Power is sent to the rear wheels by way of a Chevrolet 350ci V8 crate engine mated to an automatic transmission and complete with a refreshed 4-barrel carburetor, HEI distributor, aluminum radiator with electric fan and a chrome air cleaner, valve covers, and accessory drive. Recent services completed under the hood include the addition of a new battery, starter motor, and water pump.

Additional photos detailing the underside and the rest of this 1934 Chevrolet have been made available for viewing in the image gallery.

AUTOHUNTER ADMIN UPDATE 8/23/2021: Seller states the transmission is a 700R4 automatic transmission

Handles very well, smooth straight easy to steer. Rides much better with the new springs and shocks I put in. Rides like a car not like a skateboard now!
