1970 Buick LeSabre Custom Convertible

This 1970 Buick LeSabre Custom is a reportedly roadworthy convertible that has been with the seller for 48 years. It is powered by the reportedly original 350ci V8 backed by a 3-speed automatic transmission. This Buick Convertible received a repaint in the original color of Bamboo Cream from the previous owner. Features include a power black vinyl convertible top with a glass rear window, quad headlights, chrome front and rear bumpers, a driver-side rearview mirror, wheel opening and rocker trim, and dual taillights with integrated reverse lights. According to the seller, the convertible top well has never been replaced. They also report that tiny pits from normal wear and age can be seen in the paint and tiny rust spots on the chrome bumpers and door handles are visible.

In addition, the vacuum and fuel lines, fuel pump, valve cover gaskets, spark plugs, points, condenser, plug wires, PCV valve, air filter, accessory belts, water pump, radiator, thermostat, and coolant hoses were replaced.

This Buick was originally equipped with an independent front suspension and a solid rear drive axle on a perimeter frame. The stopping power is provided by factory power brakes with new front and rear wheel cylinders, master cylinder, front and rear brake hoses, and brake fluid. The service records show that the front wheel bearings have been repacked, rear steel brake lines have been installed, the fuel tank has been removed and cleaned, and a new fuel gauge sender has been installed.
