This 2016 Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat is an Arizona-owned, two-owner performance coupe powered by a 708-horsepower 6.2-liter supercharged HEMI V8 backed by a 6-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential. The SRT offers aesthetics including aerodynamic bodywork, 20” forged wheels, a scooped hood and HID project beam headlights in addition to a model-specific drivetrain. Finished in Pitch Black over a black and red two-tone Nappa leather and suede interior, this Hellcat is now offered with an owner’s manual, a clean CARFAX report, and a clear Arizona title in the seller’s name.
The third-generation Challenger debuted in 2008 and the Hellcat name was applied to the high-performance variant beginning in 2015, taking the place of the former SRT-8 model. This Challenger Hellcat from the subsequent model year wears its original Pitch Black paint and has reportedly been garage-kept. Condition is described as near-new aside from some anticipated stone chips on the nose consistent with mileage driven. Having resided in Arizona since new, this Challenger offers a hood scoop, HID projector headlamps, a front lower air dam, a rear decklid spoiler, and a dual exhaust system. The seller has provided up-close imaging of select detailed cosmetic issues in the photo carousel.
Forged 20” SRT matte-black wheels are mounted to newer Pirelli P-Zero 275/40-series tires with fewer than 2,000 miles accrued on them. Handling is provided by an SRT-tuned Bilstein three-mode competition suspension, while stability is assisted with all-speed traction control, and stopping power comes from four-wheel disc brakes and red-finished Brembo calipers.
The interior is upholstered with power-operated two-tone Nappa leather heated and ventilated bucket seating, matched to the door panels, dash, and carpeting. Materials are accented with optional red seat belts and red Alcantara suede inserts throughout. Convenience features include a configurable drive mode, keyless entry and start, aluminum trim, a heated tilt/telescope-adjustable steering wheel, tinted windows, billet pedals, dual-zone automatic climate control, GPS navigation, a back-up camera, and parking assist. The audio system is equipped with HD radio, integrated voice command, XM connectivity, a Harmon Kardon GreenEdge amplifier, and 18 speakers throughout the cockpit.
Instrumentation is dominated by a 200-mph speedometer, a 7k-rpm tachometer, and a customizable 7” cluster with multifunction display. The digital odometer reads 29,001 miles, reflective of a true reading that is supported by the CARFAX report.
The HEMI 6.2-liter supercharged V8 was rated at 708 horsepower and has received consistent service since new, including receiving maintenance within the last month per the seller. Additionally, the CARFAX communicates prior maintenance history including an oil change in July 2021, a maintenance inspection in 2019, and a 2017 service that included an oil change, alignment, wiper replacement, and air filter replacement. This Hellcat was optioned with an engine block heater when new. Power is sent to the rear wheels via a 6-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential.
Photos showing the underside are available in the carousel.
The CARFAX report illustrates ownership history free of any accidents or damage, although there is an open manufacturer emissions recall dated October 2019 regarding the catalytic converter. The sale includes an owner’s manual.
