Reserve Removed: 1934 Ford Victoria

This original all-steel 1934 Ford Victoria sedan is finished in Vineyard Green over a tan cloth interior and is powered by a  rebuilt 221ci flathead V8 paired with a column-shifted 3-speed manual transmission. Equipment includes a restored interior, deluxe cowl lights, upgraded 97 Carburetor, and original floors. Located in Tucson Arizona, this Ford Victoria has been awarded Dearborn Awards for its resulting condition and is now offered for sale on a clean Arizona title in the seller’s name.

Finished in Vineyard Green, this rust free Ford Victoria is equipped with suicide doors, full-length running boards on each side, a spare tire carrier at the rear, pentagonal grille with vertical bars, and a factory Ford greyhound hood ornament affixed on the hood. The side hood panels are vented, and the front and rear bumpers, headlight rings, sideview mirrors, and door handles are chrome-finished. The car is also equipped with deluxe cowl lights and the glass is date coded and in good condition. According to the seller, there are some signs of lacquer cracks and small chip touch ups but they are very limited.

Factory spoked wheels are finished in green with chrome center caps and are fitted to whitewall tires on all four corners. Brakes work well and stop straight and the steering box is tight and easy. According to the seller, the tires are at least 25 years old and while they appear in fine shape, you may want to put new ones on if you plan to put significant miles on the car. A full size spare is included in the sale, and mounts to the back of the car.

The interior features a bench seat upholstered in tan cloth with matching tan door panels and headliner. According to the seller, the Interior was restored in all correct materials and patterns likely from Lebaron Bonney. All garnish mouldings and the dash are wood-grained, the floors show no signs of patch panels anywhere, and the correct wool carpeting is gray.

Behind the three spoke steering wheel, instrumentation is provided by a series of gauges mounted at the center dash within a brushed aluminum bezel. Headlights, tailights, and cowl lights are operated by the steering wheel control and it is also equipped with a cigarette lighter and peep mirrors. There are era switches under dash for the KC Fog Lights and a switch on the handle of the “SportLite” spotlight. The seller states that all gauges except fuel operate. True mileage on the chassis is unknown.

The 221ci flathead V8 received an upgraded 97 Carburetor. According to the seller, there is no smoke and no out of the ordinary oil leaks. This Ford Victoria drives wonderfully and the transmission shifts smoothly. Power is sent to the rear wheels via a 3-speed manual transmission.
