This 2018 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon 4x4 sport utility vehicle features a removable three-piece top and doors, AEV wheels, 37-inch Federal off-road tires, and a 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 paired with a 6-speed manual transmission and Dana 44 axles. This Wrangler was first owned in West Virginia and resided in that region until being relocated to Indiana in the summer of 2021 where it is currently offered. Finished in Granite Crystal Metallic over a black leather interior, this first-year JL Wrangler is now available from a dealer with an owner’s manual, a clean CARFAX report, and a clear title.
Manufactured by Jeep since 1986, the Wrangler model served as the successor to the CJ and uses body-on-frame construction with flared fenders, a fold-flat windshield, and removable doors. This Wrangler Rubicon comes from the JL series, which debuted in the 2018 model year. The body is painted Granite Crystal Metallic and features a matching removable three-piece hard top. This Wrangler is further outfitted with Customer Preferred Package 23R, which includes LED lighting, as well as optional active safety features and other upgrades. Rubicon insignias are located on both sides of the hood and a Trail Rated badge is on the driver-side front fender.
AEV (American Expedition Vehicles) 17-inch wheels are set inside of 37-inch Federal Xplora R/T off-road tires. A matching spare is mounted to the rear swing gate.
The interior offers room for five with black leather seating, matching door panels, black carpeting, and a matte red dash face. The audio system is a Bluetooth-enabled eight-speaker setup with a USB media hub, integrated voice command functionality, and an overhead soundbar. Additional features include a heated and leather-wrapped steering wheel, heated front seats, power windows with one-touch-down for the front row, a 115-volt auxiliary power outlet, and a leather-wrapped steering wheel as well as dual-zone automatic climate control and a Uconnect 3 infotainment system with a seven-inch touchscreen.
Instrumentation includes a 120-mph speedometer, a 7k-rpm tachometer, and gauges for the coolant temperature and fuel level. The digital odometer reads 98k miles, which is supported by the CARFAX report.
The 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 was rated at 285 horsepower and was serviced in September of 2021 at Champion Chrysler Dodge Jeep in Indianapolis, Indiana, according to the CARFAX report. Power is sent to all four wheels via a 6-speed manual transmission and a Rock-Trac HD part-time four-wheel drive system, Tru-Lok front and rear differentials, and Dana 44 HD wide axles.
Additional hardware includes an electronic sway bar disconnect feature, a performance suspension, rock rails, and skid plates for the fuel tank, transfer case, and transmission. Stopping power comes from four-wheel anti-lock disc brakes.
The Carfax report shows a vehicle history free of accidents or damage. This Jeep carried an original MSRP of $49,205 including destination. The sale includes an owner’s manual.
