572-Powered 1966 Chevrolet Nova

This 1966 Chevrolet Nova is a modified rotisserie restoration completed eight years ago powered by a 572ci big-block Chevrolet V8 crate engine backed by a 4L80E transmission. The seller states that $140K was spent on the restoration of this California rust-free example. Features include House of Kolor two-tone paint and shaved drip rails, emblems, door handles, and trim as well as tinted glass, a cowl-induction hood, a coilover front suspension, rack and pinion steering, Wilwood disc brakes up front, a nine-inch Ford rear axle with coilovers and a four-link setup, Billet Specialties 17-inch front and 18-inch rear wheels, and more. This blue and silver Nova with a gray leather interior is available now with a clear California title.

The vehicle was a California rust-free example prior to the build, which included application of the blue and silver finish by House of Kolor. All of the body trim, emblems, trunk trim, and drip rails along with the door handles have been shaved. The body has widened mini tub inner wheelhouses installed in the rear. The glass trim has been painted black and all windows have been tinted. A cowl-induction-style hood has been installed.

A set of polished Billet Specialties aluminum 17-inch front and 18-inch rear wheels have been installed. The front wheels wear 215/45/17 Bridgestone RE50 tires and the rear wheels wear 285/40/18 Bridgestone rubber. 

The interior is furnished with gray leather upholstery covering power bucket seats and the matching rear seat, custom door panels with billet exit handles and gray microfiber inserts, and a custom front center console. Gray carpeting with matching mats covers the floor. A gray leather headliner with sun visors, an overhead console, and a dome light has been installed. The aftermarket chrome tilt steering column is topped with a three-spoke steering wheel that features a Chevrolet logo. Oval billet aluminum gas and brake pedals can be found below. The trunk is completely upholstered with custom panels for the side and front along with a liner for the trunk lid. The trunk floor is covered with gray carpet. A polished aluminum fuel cell can be seen mounted to the floor. 

The steel dashboard is topped with a gray leather dashpad and has been modified to accept five oval Dakota Digital main gauges. The gauge cluster includes fuel level, oil pressure, voltage, coolant temperature, speedometer, and tachometer readouts. The car has reportedly been driven 312 miles since the restoration was completed.

The original engine has been replaced with a 572ci Chevrolet big-block V8 crate engine. Blue body-color valve covers and block with aluminum heads, a chrome air-gap intake, a polished round billet aluminum open-element air cleaner, a chrome alternator, a power steering pump, chrome pulleys, and headers are present. The firewall has been smoothed and custom inner fender wells, both painted to match the car's silver lower body, have been added. A billet aluminum dual-circuit ABS brake master cylinder and an aftermarket radiator can also be found under the hood. 

The original front suspension stub has been replaced with a Heidts front end which included coilover suspension with chrome upper and lower tubular control arms, rack and pinion steering, and disc brakes with drilled and slotted rotors. The rear axle housing is a Ford nine-inch unit that has drum brakes. It is mated to a TCI coilover four-link setup with a chrome panhard bar. Full-length three-inch dual exhaust exits just behind the rear wheels. A chrome electric fuel pump is mounted to the rear frame rail.
