This 1966 Chevrolet C10 Stepside pickup underwent a frame-off restoration and has been driven fewer than 1,200 miles since the installation of a crate 350ci V8 powerplant paired with a 700R4 4-speed automatic transmission. It features replacement bed planks and hardware, 22-inch American Racing wheels, new tires, a custom suspension, and four-wheel Wilwood disc brakes. Inside, it comes equipped with air conditioning and an Alpine head unit. Refinished in white over a white leather interior, this first-generation C10 is now offered with a clear Florida title.
The original C10 pickup debuted as a 1960 model and received a restyled hood and grille two years later. This 1966 C10 Stepside from the final model year of the first generation was subjected to a frame-off restoration of the rust-free body, which was topped off with a repaint in white two years ago. The wooden bed planks and associated stainless-steel strips were replaced. Enhancements include LED headlights and taillights, a shaved rear bumper, and side-exit exhaust outlets ahead of each rear tire.
American Racing 22-inch six-spoke wheels are wrapped in new Goodyear tires. An upgraded Wilwood disc braking system with cross-drilled rotors was installed. Additional hardware includes power steering and a custom suspension.
The interior is fitted with a white leather bench seat, a color-coordinated dashboard, white and gray door panels, and off-white kick panels. Gray carpeting covers the floor. Hardware includes skeletonized door handles and window cranks, metal and rubber pedals, a chrome tilt steering column connected to an aftermarket steering wheel with a white leather rim, and a Chevrolet bowtie-shaped rearview mirror. Amenities consist of air conditioning and a Bluetooth-compatible head unit.
The bank of Shark gauges from Dolphin Instruments and Gauges includes a 140-mph speedometer, an 8k-rpm tachometer, and readouts for the fuel level, oil pressure, and more. The five-digit mechanical odometer reads 1,177 miles, which reflects the mileage put on the new engine.
The crate 350ci V8 sends its power to the rear wheels via a 700R4 4-speed automatic transmission.
