This 1922 Studebaker Light is an unrestored Touring 4-door model equipped with a 207ci L-head inline 6-cylinder engine and 3-speed manual transmission. Features include a rebuilt starter and fuel vacuum pump, a folding windshield with a spotlight, an externally mounted toolbox, a new muffler, and newer tires. Finished in black with a black top over a black leather interior, this antique Studebaker is available now and comes with a clear title in the seller's name.
The fenders and body are reportedly unrestored. The body features electric headlamps, a 4-piece engine cover, cowl lamps, a windshield-mounted spotlight, a folding windshield frame, a driver-side rearview mirror, an external toolbox, the original convertible top, rear-mounted dual spare tires with a Studebaker cover, and a single taillight.
The original red wooden 12-spoke wheels are mounted to silver steel rims wrapped in tires which the seller states are in great shape and only have a couple of hundred miles on them.
The front and rear bench seats are upholstered in original black leather. Cracking is visible on the front seat. A black rubber mat covers the floor in the front and tan carpeting covers the rear. All four door panels are upholstered in leather as well. The woodgrain dashboard panel is home to a keyed coil switch and choke controls. The steering column is topped with a 4-spoke metal steering wheel with a wooden rim. The horn button does not work, but the horn will work when bench tested off of the car. Engine tuning and adjustment levers are mounted in the center of the steering wheel. A parking brake and 3-speed manual shifter can be seen at the center of the front floor along with the starter button and brake, gas, and clutch controls.
The dash-mounted gauges consist of a 75-mph speedometer with a 5-place odometer reading 9,367 miles along with amp and fuel level gauges.
The engine is a 207ci L-head inline 6-cylinder engine backed by a 3-speed manual transmission. The seller states that a rebuilt starter and vacuum fuel pump has been added. The seller also states that the dashboard has a key, but a toggle switch for the ignition has been installed. The front I-beam axle and solid rear drive axle are supported by parallel leaf springs. A body-colored black gas tank is mounted at the rear of the frame behind the body. A new muffler has been installed.
