Under previous ownership, this 1969 Volkswagen Beetle received a cosmetic and mechanical refurbishment which included the addition of reproduction Talbot Berlin mirrors, Porsche "cookie-cutter" wheels, a RagTop sunroof, replica Porsche 356 gauges, and Procar seats. Within the last year, the current owner has polished the paint and cleaned the carburetor for the rebuilt 1,800cc flat-4 engine, which comes paired with a 4-speed manual transaxle. After spending a year in a warehouse in Brazil, the car was moved to Boca Raton, Florida, where it is currently located. Finished in Gulf Orange with a brown fabric sunroof over a brown vinyl interior, this customized Beetle comes with import documentation and a clear title.
The Gulf Orange exterior features chrome bumpers front and rear, as well as reproduction Talbot Berlin mirror housings, running boards, a retractable Ragtop roof, and decorative side trim.
Porsche "cookie-cutter" 15-inch steel wheels are set inside of Goodyear GPS 3 tires that measure 175/65R15 in the front and 185/65R15 in the back. The vehicle is also equipped with a spare tire mounted in the front cargo compartment.
The interior was completely redone and fitted with brown Procar vinyl seats and color-coordinating door panels and door panels. The exterior paint is continued on the dashboard.
Instrumentation is framed by a wood-rimmed Porsche steering wheel and consists of replica Porsche 356 gauges, including a 200-kph speedometer, a tachometer, and fuel level and coolant temperature gauges. The 5-digit mechanical odometer reads 12,507 kilometers (7,772 miles), which the seller reports represent mileage driven since the build. True chassis mileage is unknown.
The rear-mounted 1,600cc flat-4 was rebuilt under prior ownership by a specialist shop into an engine with an 1,800cc displacement. Maintenance performed within the last year includes an oil change, a carburetor cleaning, a brake check, and a caster adjustment. Power is transferred to the rear wheels via a 4-speed manual transaxle with a floor-mounted shift lever. The seller has posted a road test video of the car below.
Several undercarriage photos can be found in the gallery.
Import documentation, new bumpers, a new engine block, and a performance kit with forged pistons will be included with the sale. The seller has posted a video showing the car in greater detail below.

Thanks for your bids gentleman. Any questions, please, feel free to ask !
@MikeVair – Is there a reason for needing the extra block and performance kit since the engine was recently rebuilt and appears to run very well? Almost seems like there must be a reason for the outlay of cash. Thanks ...
@MikeVair, my idea was build a stronger engine and maybe use extra power (turbo). This is why I bought forged parts. Yes, the engine works fine, but was built using old block (material is different) and non forged pistons. Well, for me this is a car to meetings and always must be care. Thanks for your question.
