Vehicle Story

OVERVIEW

This 1967 Ford Mustang features a newer front bumper and driver-side fender, newer paint, and several upgrades, including a four-barrel Edelbrock carburetor, headers, an MSD distributor, and 17-inch wheels with new tires. It comes equipped with power steering, front bucket seats, lap belts, and manual windows. Power from the 289ci V8 is delivered to the road through an automatic transmission and the rear wheels. Refinished in medium blue over a two-tone blue vinyl interior, this first-generation Mustang is available now and comes with the removed original two-barrel carburetor, front bumper and driver-side fender, and hub caps as well as a clear New Mexico title in the seller's name.

EXTERIOR - FEATURES

The exterior was originally Clearwater Aqua but was refinished in medium blue. Following an accident, the chrome front bumper, lower front fascia, and driver-side fender were replaced. As the photos in the gallery to the right show, the fascia and fender have not been painted to match the body. Features include bright badging and trim, a chrome driver-side mirror cap, a chrome rear bumper, and dual exhaust outlets. Some characters are missing from the passenger-side fender and trunk lid lettering. The seller reports the data tag was removed from the driver-side door during the repainting process and was never reinstalled.

EXTERIOR - WHEELS AND TIRES

A set of black 17-inch wheels with polished lips is surrounded by new tires.

INTERIOR - FEATURES

The cabin is furnished with two-tone blue vinyl front bucket and rear bench seats, a matching dashboard and door panels, and blue carpeting. Tears are visible in the front seats. Equipment includes manual window cranks, power steering, lap belts, and an aftermarket radio. The trunk contains a patterned vinyl mat and a spare wheel with a whitewall tire.

INTERIOR - GAUGES

Vehicle information is displayed on a 120-mph speedometer and gauges for the fuel level, oil pressure, alternator, and coolant temperature. The rolled-over five-digit mechanical odometer currently shows 120K miles, but the true mileage on this vehicle is unknown.

ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION

Upgrades to the 289ci V8 include an Edelbrock carburetor with a four-barrel aluminum intake, headers, and an MSD HEI distributor. Power is sent to the rear wheels through an automatic transmission. The vehicle was last serviced in June of 2022.

UNDERCARRIAGE

According to the seller, the frame is rust-free, but there is a quarter-sized spot of rust near the bottom of each door. Additional photos showing the underside are available in the carousel.

ADDITIONAL DETAILS

The removed original two-barrel carburetor, front bumper and driver-side fender, and hub caps will be included with the sale of the vehicle.
