OVERVIEW

This 1979 Jeep CJ-5 has been with the seller for one year and is powered by a Chevrolet 350ci V8 engine backed by a TH350 automatic transmission and a transfer case. EXTERIOR - FEATURES

The exterior of this Jeep was professionally finished in olive drab Raptor bed liner material. Features include a rear-tilting nose assembly, dual chrome headlight buckets, black wheel flares, square-tube side steps, driver- and passenger-side mirrors, dual taillights, a rear spare tire bracket, and a hitch receiver. The seller notes that this Jeep does not have windshield wipers and the turn signal lights do not work.

EXTERIOR - WHEELS AND TIRES

A set of black eight-hole aluminum wheels with polished lips is equipped with Milestar Patagonia M/T radial tires. The front end features manual locking hubs.

INTERIOR - FEATURES

The bucket seats are upholstered in black vinyl and the interior surfaces of the fiberglass tub, including the roll bar, are finished in black Raptor bed liner material. Features include a black rubber floor mat, a roll bar-mounted jack, black lap belts, a locking center console compartment, a floor-mounted automatic shifter, and a four-wheel-drive transfer case selector. Additional features include an aluminum dashboard panel, power steering, and power brakes.

INTERIOR - GAUGES

A 120-mph speedometer and gauges for the fuel level, oil pressure, and coolant temperature are located in an aluminum panel ahead of the driver. A digital voltage gauge with accessory ports and switches is mounted to the right of the driver. With 700 miles added during current ownership, the odometer reads 20,684 miles, but the actual mileage on this vehicle is unknown.

ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION

Power is provided by a 350ci V8 backed by a TH350 automatic transmission. Underhood features include power steering and power brakes, black steel valve covers, an aluminum intake, a Holley four-barrel carburetor, a chrome air cleaner, and a starter motor heat shield. The seller reports the engine has a few very minor oil leaks and was last serviced in April of this year.

UNDERCARRIAGE

This Jeep chassis is equipped with a lift kit, solid front axle, solid rear axle, and part-time four-wheel drive. Braking is provided by power front discs and rear drums.
