No Reserve: 1985 Buick Riviera

OVERVIEW

This 1985 Buick Riviera was with the previous owner since 1993 and is powered by a 5.0-liter V8 engine backed by a four-speed automatic transmission. Features include front-wheel drive, a padded landau top, air conditioning, a digital AM/FM/cassette radio, tilt steering, and cruise control. Power features include brakes, steering, windows, locks, antenna, and driver's seat. EXTERIOR – FEATURES

The exterior was repainted in the 1990s in the original factory color of Red Firemist. Exterior features include chrome bumpers with impact strips, quad headlights, a chrome grille, a new power antenna, wheel opening and rocker moldings, side impact strips, and color-keyed mirror housings with a manual remote driver-side mirror. Additional features include a maroon vinyl padded landau roof, a rear window defogger, and dual taillights with integrated reverse lights. The rear bumper fillers are damaged and partially missing.

EXTERIOR - WHEELS AND TIRES

A set of steel wheels with chrome simulated wire hub caps is wrapped in Goodyear Assurance tires.

INTERIOR – FEATURES

The front split bench seat with a folding center armrest and the matching rear seat are upholstered in maroon cloth. Features include maroon interior trim and door panels, maroon carpeting with maroon carpeted floor mats, a maroon padded dashboard, and an aftermarket compass. Additional features include a tilt steering column with an automatic shifter, cruise control, air conditioning, and a digital AM/FM/cassette stereo. Power features include windows, locks, brakes, and driver’s seat.

INTERIOR – GAUGES

An 85-mph speedometer and a fuel level gauge are located ahead of the driver. The odometer reads 19,832 miles but the true mileage on this vehicle is unknown. The selling dealer states that the odometer has rolled over and the actual mileage is 119,832. The last mileage reported on the CARFAX report was 97K in April of 2005.

ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION

Power is provided by a 5.0-liter V8 backed by an automatic transmission. Underhood features include power steering and brakes, cruise control, a windshield washer, and air conditioning.

UNDERCARRIAGE

This Riviera came factory-equipped with an independent front-wheel-drive suspension and a solid rear axle. Braking is provided by power front discs and rear drums. ADDITIONAL DETAILS

The CARFAX report starts in October of 1990 and shows an accident-free vehicle history in Wisconsin. An owner’s manual and the previous owner's personal maintenance log going back to 1993 will be included with the sale. The selling dealer charges a $99 documentation fee.
