OVERVIEW
This 1955 Chevrolet Bel Air is powered by a 355ci V8 backed by a 700R4 four-speed automatic transmission with overdrive. Features include manual steering and brakes, a 1959 Chevrolet Impala steering wheel, a custom grille, and Chevrolet Rallye wheels with Firestone tires. Refinished in red and white over a black vinyl interior, this "Tri-Five" Chevrolet is available now and comes from the selling dealer with a clear Pennsylvania title.
EXTERIOR - FEATURES
This 1955 Bel Air has been repainted white over red and features chrome bumpers with bumper guards, a custom chrome tube grille, a shaved hood ornament, a fender-mounted antenna, and Bel Air bodyside trim with white inserts. Additional features include a trunk-mounted license plate and custom one-piece smooth taillight lenses. The reverse lights have been removed. A video of the exterior can be seen below.
EXTERIOR - WHEELS AND TIRES
A set of silver 15-inch Chevrolet Rallye wheels with stainless center caps and trim rings is wrapped in P225/70 Firestone Firehawk radial tires.
INTERIOR - FEATURES
The front and rear bench seats are upholstered in black vinyl with diamond-quilted inserts. Features include black vinyl rear trim and door panels, black carpeting, black carpeted floor mats, a center console with an automatic transmission shifter, and manual windows, steering, and brakes. Additional features include a black dashboard, a RetroSound AM/FM stereo, a 1959 Impala steering wheel, and black diamond-quilted vinyl sun visors.
INTERIOR - GAUGES
A 110-mph speedometer and gauges for the fuel level and coolant temperature are located ahead of the driver. An 8K-rpm AutoMeter tachometer is mounted to the steering column. The odometer reads 62K miles but the true mileage on this vehicle is unknown.
ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION
Power is provided by a 355ci V8 and backed by a 700R4 four-speed automatic transmission with overdrive. Underhood features include electric windshield wipers, chrome valve covers, a chrome air cleaner lid, and an aluminum intake. A video of this vehicle being driven can be seen below.
UNDERCARRIAGE
