EXTERIOR - FEATURES

The exterior is finished in Jet Black and features chrome bumpers, a chrome grille, dual headlights with chrome bezels, dual color-keyed rearview mirror housings with a manual driver’s remote, dual taillights with integrated reverse lights, and wheel well moldings.

EXTERIOR - WHEELS AND TIRES

A set of five-spoke polished aluminum Boyd Coddington wheels is wrapped in staggered-size BFGoodrich G-Force T/A radial tires.

INTERIOR - FEATURES

The front bucket seats, rear seat, and door panels are upholstered in red vinyl. Features include red carpeting, a center console with an automatic transmission shifter, manual windows, power steering and brakes, factory air conditioning, and an AM/FM stereo.

INTERIOR - GAUGES

An 80-mph speedometer, a fuel gauge, and a clock are located ahead of the driver. An aftermarket set of gauges with readouts for the voltage, oil pressure, and water temperature is mounted on the driver-side A-pillar. The odometer reads 7,878 but the true mileage is unknown. The speedometer needs the plastic gear that connects to the transmission, according to the selling dealer.

ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION

Power is provided by a 406ci Chevrolet V8 engine backed by a 200-4R automatic transmission. Underhood features include power steering and brakes, factory air conditioning with an aftermarket compressor, an aluminum intake, an Eldebrock 750 carburetor, aluminum heads, and polished aluminum valve covers. Additional features include an aluminum radiator, a black Edlebrock air cleaner, a serpentine belt engine accessory system, and a windshield washer. An oil change was completed within the last 8 months.

UNDERCARRIAGE

This Malibu is equipped with an independent front suspension and an upgraded solid 9-inch Ford rear drive axle with a limited slip 3.73 gear. Braking is provided by power four-wheel disc brakes. A full-length dual exhaust, with Flowmaster mufflers, exits at the rear. Upgrades include adjustable rear tubular four-link bars and coil over rear shocks.
