OVERVIEW
This 1966 Ford Mustang coupe is powered by a built 302ci V8 mated to a Toploader four-speed manual transmission. Performance upgrades include a Holley carburetor, an aluminum radiator, an electronic ignition system, front disc brakes, and 17-inch aluminum wheels. Finished in metallic silver with red striping and Shelby badging over a red vinyl interior, this first-generation Mustang is now offered with New York registration in the seller’s name.
EXTERIOR – FEATURES
This Mustang coupe was repainted metallic silver with red striping and features a billet grille, a Shelby dual-intake hood, a Shelby fuel cap, and a side-exit dual exhaust system. The bumpers, side mirrors, emblems, and door handles were replaced as part of the cosmetic exterior refinishing.
EXTERIOR – WHEELS AND TIRES
New polished aluminum 17-inch Ridler five-spoke wheels are wrapped in tires with black sidewall lettering.
INTERIOR – FEATURES
The Pony Package cockpit is furnished with red vinyl low-back bucket seats complemented by a matching rear bench, door panels, headliner, dash, and carpeting. The window regulators, weatherstripping, and seals were replaced during the interior refurbishment. Amenities include aluminum door sill plates, lap belts, and a wood-rimmed steering wheel.
INTERIOR – GAUGES
Instrumentation is housed within a black bezel and includes a 140-mph speedometer along with gauges for the fuel level, coolant temperature, oil pressure, and voltage. The five-digit mechanical odometer reads 29K miles, although the true mileage on the chassis is unknown.
ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION
The built 302ci V8 is fed by a Holley four-barrel carburetor and features performance upgrades including a mild street cam, an electronic ignition system, an aluminum radiator with an electric fan, and an electric fuel pump. Recent maintenance includes the replacement of the starter and battery. Power is sent to the rear wheels via a floor-shifted Toploader four-speed manual transmission.
UNDERCARRIAGE
Stopping power is provided by disc brakes up front and drums in the rear. The suspension received new front springs. Additional photos showing the underside are available in the carousel to the right.
ADDITIONAL DETAILS
This Mustang was previously sold on Auto Hunter but is being relisted after the buyer backed out of the transaction through no fault of the seller. It has a current New York State safety inspection sticker.

Would be useful to bidders to see photos of the ender carriage of the vehicle in the air. From what I can see there appears to be significant rust on the front of the frame in front of the steering & suspension. How about some CLEAR photos of the frame while it is on a lift??
Damaged passenger rear quarter panel, no hiding that !
