OVERVIEW
This 1975 Datsun 280Z is powered by a 2.8-liter inline-six backed by a four-speed manual transmission. Features include upgraded four-wheel disc brakes, 240Z bumpers, factory air conditioning, and rack-and-pinion steering. Refinished in Leaf Green over a black vinyl interior, this 280Z is available now and comes with removed original parts detailed below, the original tool kit and jack, receipts, and a clear Georgia title in the seller’s name.
EXTERIOR - FEATURES
Under original ownership, the front end of this car was damaged in an accident. After that, the vehicle was stored until approximately 2009, when it was purchased and returned to roadworthy condition by the second owner. The seller took ownership in 2017 and had the body repainted in the reportedly original color of Leaf Green the same year. Features include chrome 240Z bumpers, a forward-tilting replacement hood, and 280Z emblems. The seller states that the paint has several flaws that can be seen up close.
EXTERIOR - WHEELS AND TIRES
A set of 15-inch five-slot polished aluminum wheels is wrapped in radial tires. According to the seller, the wheels and tires were installed in 2017.
INTERIOR - FEATURES
During the restoration in 2017, the black vinyl seat upholstery was replaced. Features include factory air conditioning, a factory radio, a floor-mounted manual shifter, a center console, and a three-spoke steering wheel. The seller notes that the radio works intermittently and the power antenna has been replaced with a non-power antenna.
INTERIOR - GAUGES
A 160-mph speedometer, an 8K-rpm tachometer, a non-functional clock, and gauges for the fuel level, amps, coolant temperature, and oil pressure are located ahead of the driver. The odometer is reportedly accurate and shows 16,987 miles.
ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION
Power is provided by a 2.8-liter inline-six engine and backed by a four-speed manual transmission. The seller notes that an oil change was recently completed.
UNDERCARRIAGE
This Datsun was factory-equipped with four-wheel independent suspension and a rear drive axle. Braking is provided by upgraded four-wheel discs. A single exhaust system exits at the rear. Additional photos of the undercarriage can be seen in the carousel to the right.
ADDITIONAL DETAILS
The seller will include receipts from their five years of ownership, the original spare, the original jack and toolkit, and all of the original parts that were removed from the car, including the carpet, three of the hubcaps, and all four wheels, as part of the sale.

Had a 72 back in the day. Loved that car. Wish I was young enough to get in and out now, would love to bid on it.

@SonOfDat – Great looking car. A few questions/clarifications please. Does the A/C work? Original compressor? Is the mileage accurate? Was there an extensive recommissioning? Have the engine internals been rebuilt or as left factory? Do you have the documents and records? How far back? Are those rally stickers recent? Has the car been successfully driven over 100 miles in the last 2 years? ...
The AC is original and blows cold. The mileage is actual and the engine is completely stock. I did replace the fuel injectors, added rear disks brakes and replaced the exhaust. The exhaust is OEM type not something crazy. Recommissioning consisted of brakes lines, brakes, replaced hoses, belt and flushed all fluids. The car was repainted in original Leaf Green and the interior was replaced with quality seat covers and carpet kit from Z Car Parts. I also replaced the fuel filters and pump. I have documentation for all parts and mechanical work done to the car. The reason I bought the car in 2017 was to have a car my son and I could use for old car rally's and we have driven it many times and it's never let us down! You can beat a Datsun for reliability. We haven't driven it much in 2022 so I decided it was time to let it go to anther good home. I hope you win and can enjoy it like we have.

Sorry for the duplicate questions. I should have read the comments before posting. A little description of the recommissioning process and the A/C questions.

@Bama18 – Is the car in good enough to be a good weather daily driver? If possible do think it would make a 300 mi trip to Destin, Fl and return? I owned a new 1977 280Z and loved the car, but it always had a transmission that " paused a short time" around 60mph. The paint flaws mentioned in your comments do you think they need addressed or can it pass for now? is everthing including option operatable? ...
The car is in excellent and I would not hesitate to drive it daily. Since I purchased the car in Feb of 2017 I have out 5800 miles on it. Most of those miles were 600-800 mile weekend trips. It has never left me stranded. I can't say that for some of the other old cars I have. The car had 11,200 original miles on it when I purchased it and my son and I drove it on a 300 mile old car rally a month after getting it. All we had to do was change the fluids and tires. The paint flaws are minor drips in the clear coat, so I never bothered to fix them.
Also, I did not see there was a reserve set on the car - if true, highest bid wins?
