OVERVIEW
This 1989 Cadillac Eldorado Biarritz coupe has been driven 35,380 miles since new and receives power from a 4.5-liter V8 paired with a four-speed automatic transaxle. Luxury amenities include automatic climate control, burlwood trim, wire wheel covers, a Delco audio system, and power conveniences. Finished in navy blue and equipped with a matching partial roof covering over a blue leather interior, this 11th-generation Eldorado is now offered with a clean CARFAX report, and a clear Florida title in the seller’s name.
EXTERIOR – FEATURES
The navy blue body is topped with a matching partial roof covering. Features include composite headlamps, an egg crate-style grille, a hood ornament, chrome beltline moldings, and gold badging. The gold badge for the front driver-side fender is cracked and will be included with the car.
EXTERIOR – WHEELS AND TIRES
Steel 15-inch wheels with Cadillac-branded wire covers are wrapped in 205/70 Ironman Touring Pro whitewall tires.
INTERIOR – FEATURES
The cabin is configured with blue leather power-adjustable bucket seats up front, a bench in the rear, and color-matched door panels, carpeting, and floor mats. The dash and center console are dressed in glossy woodgrain. Amenities include power windows, power door locks, cruise control, power-adjustable mirrors, automatic climate control, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, illuminated vanity mirrors, and a Delco AM/FM/cassette radio with a graphic equalizer. According to the seller, the Check Driver Information Center light is on and the air conditioning needs to be recharged.
INTERIOR – GAUGES
Instrumentation consists of a digital speedometer along with auxiliary gauges. The digital odometer reads 35,380 miles, which is in line with the last mileage figure on the CARFAX report.
ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION
The transverse-mounted 4.5-liter V8 was rated at 180 horsepower when new and received service in November 2021 per the CARFAX report. Dealer inspections were carried out on the charging system, brakes, and other vehicle components. Power is sent to the front wheels via a console-shifted four-speed automatic transaxle. The seller states the windshield washer fluid tank is still installed and functional, but the plastic tab that connects it to the engine compartment is cracked. An uninstalled replacement reservoir will be included in the sale.
UNDERCARRIAGE
The body rides on a four-wheel independent suspension. Disc brakes are present at each corner.
ADDITIONAL DETAILS
The CARFAX report starts in August 1990 and shows no history of accidents or damage. The sale includes the cracked Eldorado badge for the front driver-side fender and an uninstalled replacement washer fluid reservoir, which is located in a box in the trunk.

Good Morning, I tried to get a shot of the date code on the tire (first picture) but it didn't seem to show up here when I transferred it. What I believe to be the date code on the tire says 4 8 15, so I believe they would be from 2015? The Air Conditioning was serviced by Autonation Cadillac in West Palm Beach in July 2018, per the receipt I attached they replaced O rings lines at the evaporator connection and recharged the system at a cost of $456. They did a cooling service at that time as well. The air conditioning started to blow warm again in the end of 2021. The car is registered and road worthy, with the last time I drove it being just before thanksgiving. My time constraints since 2019 have changed dramatically and it a shame that it just sits in the garage. Please let me know if you have any other questions and thanks for looking at the post.
Can you tell me the date codes on the tires? Also, how long has the A/C been down? How long has the car been off the road? Thanks, CaptainK
@Snowrunner – What would be needed for caddy to make a long road trip. ...
Good Evening, The car has been minimally driven for the last several years, with a run on the highway every so often for exercise. To drive a significant distance I would think it best to have all the fluids changed, and belts, hoses and brakes checked. (A normal check-up)! Thanks for looking at the post and Happy New Year to all!

@DillonGreen13 – Good Afternoon, To the best of my knowledge the car has never been in high water, absolutely not during my ownership. I purchased the car in 2018 and since that time it has always been garaged, minimally used and not even been out in rain. I purchased the vehicle through a consignment dealer and was told; it was owned by the nephew of an older woman who bought the car in the early 1990's. She babied the vehicle, had it serviced regularly by a Cadillac dealer and it was always garaged. For the last several years I have not had the time to enjoy the car or attend any club events and for that reason I have decided to let it move on to a new caretaker. Thanks for looking at the post. ...
Thank you
