OVERVIEW
This 1972 Chevrolet C10 stepside received recent service to the ignition system, fuel system, coolant system, and belts. It is powered by an Edelbrock-carbureted 350ci small-block V8 mated to a three-speed automatic transmission and features power steering and brakes, bucket seats, and a sliding rear window. Finished in navy blue over a black vinyl interior, this Action Line-generation C10 is now offered with a clear Missouri title in the seller’s name.
EXTERIOR – FEATURES
The navy blue exterior finish was applied over the reportedly rust-free body in 2021. Features include chrome brightwork, an egg crate-style grille, dual mirrors, a sliding rear window, and a short stepside bed.
EXTERIOR – WHEELS AND TIRES
Polished aluminum 15-inch wheels are wrapped in newer tires.
INTERIOR – FEATURES
The interior of the cab is fitted with late-model black vinyl bucket seats, a center jump seat, and coordinating door panels and carpeting. Features include vent windows, manual window cranks, a later-model steering wheel, a heater, and a radio block-off plate.
INTERIOR – GAUGES
Instrumentation includes a 100-mph speedometer, a tachometer, and auxiliary gauges that show the fuel level and additional vehicle vitals. The inoperative five-digit mechanical odometer reads 34,498 miles; the seller states that the true mileage on the chassis is unknown.
ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION
The small-block 350ci V8 has been upgraded with a new Edelbrock four-barrel carburetor, two new V-belts, an aluminum intake, and an aluminum radiator. The engine bay has been dressed with a chrome-finished power steering unit and a chrome alternator. Recent service included an oil change, a starter rebuild, and the replacement of the spark plugs, thermostat, and fuel pump. Power is fed to the rear wheels via a column-shifted three-speed automatic transmission.
UNDERCARRIAGE
The suspension uses Monroe shock absorbers. Steering and braking are power-assisted.
