OVERVIEW

This reportedly rust-free 1976 Cadillac Eldorado is powered by a 7.0-liter V8 engine backed by an automatic transmission. The exterior was refinished in the original color of Phoenician Ivory and equipped with fresh rubber trim pieces two years ago. Features include chrome bumpers with impact strips, rocker and wheel well trim, mid-body impact trim, dual side mirrors, a new power convertible top with a glass rear window and a defroster, and Eldorado emblems. A new power top motor has been installed.

EXTERIOR - WHEELS AND TIRES

A set of steel wheels with full color-keyed hub caps is wrapped in new whitewall radial tires that have fewer than 200 miles on them, according to the seller.

INTERIOR – FEATURES

The leather power split front bench seat with fold-down armrests, the leather rear seat, rear trim, and door panels are tan. Power features include the steering, brakes, locks, windows, and antenna. Additional features include woodgrain accents, a tilt/telescoping steering column with an automatic shifter, cruise control, an aftermarket AM/FM/CD stereo, a custom under-dashboard center console with cup holders and speakers, updated factory air conditioning, and the original AM/FM stereo.

INTERIOR – GAUGES

A 100-mph speedometer and a fuel gauge are located ahead of the driver. A set of aftermarket gauges with readouts for the oil pressure, temperature, and voltage are located in a custom center console below the dashboard. The odometer reads 101,300 miles but the true mileage on this vehicle is unknown.

ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION

Power is provided by a 7.0-liter V8 and backed by an automatic transmission. Underhood features include a blue engine block and valve covers, a black closed-element air cleaner, a windshield washer, and cast iron exhaust manifolds. A carburetor rebuild has been completed and the alternator and various belts and fluids have been changed.

UNDERCARRIAGE

This Cadillac was factory-equipped with an independent front-wheel-drive suspension and a solid rear axle. Braking is provided by power front discs and rear drums. Recent service of the front suspension has been completed.
