OVERVIEW
This 1967 Chevrolet Chevelle Malibu is powered by an upgraded, rebuilt 283ci V8 backed by a four-speed manual transmission. Features include power steering, a new carburetor, new tires, a new interior with bucket seats, and a Hurst shifter. Finished in red over a white vinyl interior, this Chevelle Malibu is available now and comes from the selling dealer with a clear Florida title.
EXTERIOR - FEATURES
The body has been refinished in red. Features include chrome bumpers, a driver-side mirror, wheel opening trim, Malibu emblems, and trunk trim.
EXTERIOR - WHEELS AND TIRES
A set of 17-inch aftermarket aluminum wheels is wrapped in new radial tires.
INTERIOR - FEATURES
The front bucket seats, rear seat, rear trim, and door panels are upholstered in new white vinyl. Features include manual windows, a floor-mounted Hurst manual shifter, manual brakes, the reportedly original steering wheel, power steering, a digital AM/FM stereo, a new glove box bezel, a new vinyl dashboard pad, and new simulated woodgrain dashboard trim.
INTERIOR - GAUGES
A 120-mph speedometer and a fuel gauge are mounted ahead of the driver. An aftermarket 8K-rpm tachometer is attached to the steering column. Accessory gauges for the oil pressure, voltage, and coolant temperature are located under the dashboard. The odometer reads 75,654 miles, which the seller believes to be accurate.
ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION
Power is provided by a rebuilt 283ci V8 engine and backed by a four-speed manual transmission. Underhood features include an HEI distributor, heavy-duty spark plug wires, an aluminum high-rise intake manifold, a new four-barrel carburetor, a new alternator, and new ceramic-coated cast iron exhaust manifolds. According to the seller, the engine recently received a tune-up.
UNDERCARRIAGE
This Malibu was factory-equipped with an independent front suspension and a solid rear drive axle. Braking is provided by manual four-wheel drums. A dual exhaust system exits at the rear.

Tim, https://www.chevyhardcore.com/tech-stories/drivetrain/10-bolt-chevy/ I'll send you a picture of the read-end I took per the website it's a 10 bolt 8.2 inch which is fine for what's in it, but before I bought a Charger last week, I was going to pull the 283 and go with a 396 BB and if needed go with the bigger12 bolt rear-end to manage the power. My guy priced them out at roughly $600. In any case the car is super clean

What transmission ….it’s says and we see manual but what is it M-20 4-speed or what. Makes a difference on bid price. Provide as much more detail regarding engine swap original equip as you know please.

Best I can tell, is if you go by the main VIN, it was a 6 Cylinder but will fix a big block 396, as that's what I had in my other one with the same VIN numbers
