EXTERIOR – FEATURES

This Camaro Z28 Indy Pace Car Edition wears black and white two-tone paint accented with side striping and decals that commemorate the 77th running of the Indianapolis 500 on May 30, 1993. This package was classified as option number B5A and reportedly was applied to 125 cars allocated to Speedway officials. Exterior features include fog lamps, a vented hood, a rear spoiler with a third brake lamp, and a dual exhaust system.

INTERIOR – FEATURES

The cabin is fitted with cloth bucket seats up front and a bench in the rear, upholstered in a color scheme that mirrors the exterior. Amenities include a power driver’s seat, cruise control, power windows, power locks, power mirrors, air conditioning, and a Delco-Bose audio system.

INTERIOR – GAUGES

Instrumentation includes a 150-mph speedometer, a 7K-rpm tachometer, and auxiliary gauges for the fuel level, coolant temperature, oil pressure, and voltage. The six-digit mechanical odometer reads 12,421 miles. The latest mileage figure of 11,700 miles on the CARFAX report is dated August 2013. According to the selling dealer, they have not added any miles to the car in the year that they have had it.

ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION

The LT1 5.7-liter V8 was rated at 275 horsepower when new. Power is transferred to the rear wheels via a four-speed automatic transmission and a limited-slip differential.  

UNDERCARRIAGE

Steering is power-assisted. Stopping power comes from anti-lock disc brakes.
