Vehicle Story

OVERVIEW

This restored 1939 Chevrolet Master is powered by a 216ci inline-six backed by a three-speed manual transmission. Features include Coker radial tires, dual rearview mirrors, and an aftermarket turn signal system. Finished in black over a taupe cloth interior, this Chevrolet is available now and comes from the selling dealer with extra parts, awards, original equipment, and a clear North Carolina title.

EXTERIOR – FEATURES

The black exterior features chrome bumpers with bumper guards and red accents, fender-mounted turn signal assemblies, a chrome grille, a split windshield, a cowl vent, dual rearview mirrors, and red pinstriping. The selling dealer states that the paint has minimal imperfections and the wipers, heat, and horn are not working. An exterior walk-around video is available below.

EXTERIOR - WHEELS AND TIRES

A set of 16-inch black steel wheels with red accent striping and chrome Chevrolet hub caps and trim rings is wrapped in Coker whitewall radial tires.

INTERIOR – FEATURES

The front bench seat is upholstered in taupe cloth. Features include a business coupe rear storage area; manual brakes, steering, and windows; a floor-mounted manual shifter; and a chrome turn signal assembly.

INTERIOR – GAUGES

A 100-mph speedometer and gauges for the fuel level, coolant temperature, oil pressure, and amps are located ahead of the driver. The odometer reads 34,426 miles, but the true mileage on this vehicle is unknown. An aftermarket coolant temperature gauge is mounted under the dashboard.

ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION

Power is provided by a 216ci inline-six engine and backed by a three-speed manual transmission. A new radiator was installed by a previous owner.

UNDERCARRIAGE

This Chevrolet was factory-equipped with a solid front axle and a solid rear drive axle. A single exhaust system exits at the rear. Braking is provided by newer four-wheel manual drums installed under previous ownership.

ADDITIONAL DETAILS

The selling dealer charges a $250 documentation fee in addition to the price of the vehicle. They will include extra parts, awards, and original equipment shown in the gallery to the right as part of the sale.

@Slick – I would be all over this car if it had the original 216 cubic inch engine. ...

It appears we made an error in our listing -- this car does have a 216 as per the casting number on the engine block.
