OVERVIEW
This customized 2012 E-Z-GO golf cart is powered by a 305ci Chevrolet V8 mated to a Tuff Torq K71 hydrostatic drive transmission. Features include a JVC AM/FM/CD stereo, front disc brakes, American Racing wheels, a custom frame, a Jake’s long travel front suspension, and a coil-over rear suspension. Finished in Purple Haze with flame graphics over a purple and yellow vinyl interior, this E-Z-GO golf cart is available now and comes from the selling dealer with a bill of sale.
EXTERIOR – FEATURES
The plastic body was refinished in Purple Haze with multicolor flames as part of a custom build in 2012. Features include dual headlights, a chrome front brush guard, a color-matched roll cage, a tinted windshield, diamond-plate rocker covers, tube steps, an aluminum spoiler on the roof, a rear-mounted aluminum fuel tank, dual taillights, and a color-keyed rear bumper.
EXTERIOR - WHEELS AND TIRES
A set of polished aluminum American Racing five-spoke wheels is wrapped in Goodyear Eagle radial tires.
INTERIOR – FEATURES
The dual bucket seats are upholstered in yellow and purple vinyl. Features include an aluminum tread-plate floor, a floor-mounted automatic transmission shifter, a tilt steering column, and a JVC AM/FM/CD digital stereo.
INTERIOR – GAUGES
A set of Stewart Warner gauges, including an 8K-rpm tachometer and readouts for the coolant temperature, voltage, and oil pressure, is located in a custom body-color pod ahead of the driver.
ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION
Power is provided by a 305ci Chevrolet V8 and backed by a Tuff Torq K71 hydrostatic drive automatic transmission. Features include a COMP Cams Thumpr camshaft, a double roller timing chain, black valve covers, an aluminum intake, a chrome air cleaner, tubular block-hugger exhaust headers connected to a straight exhaust system, and a Summit Racing radiator with an electric fan.
UNDERCARRIAGE
This golf cart has a custom frame that includes a Jake’s long travel front suspension with coil-over shocks, gear-reduction sprockets, and a coil-over rear suspension with traction bars and a Panhard bar.

After further discussion with the builder, he explained this golf cart will do 11 mph for every 1000 rpm. He also stated that 5500 rpm is likely the max for this motor. That's probably higher than most would want to go on this awesome machine :o
@absales – I do apologize for the delay getting this answer or you. The Tuff Torque transmission will take up to 400 lbs of torque so this sweet ride is all set! The builder knew exactly what he was doing :) ...

@Falcon0316 – Is there an engine rpm limit with the tuff torque transmission? Seems that a V8 engine would be too much for what is typically a garden tractor transaxle. ...

I do have to chuckle at the comment(s) stating that there is no location in the US where this vehicle would be legal to be driven on public roads, as there are many locations where local ordinances allow golf carts, ATV's, snowmoblies, etc to be legally operated on public roads. Speed limits, do apply.
