Vehicle Story

OVERVIEW

This 1935 Dodge KC pickup is a customized frame-off restoration powered by a Dyer's-supercharged 350ci V8 backed by a Muncie M21 four-speed manual transmission. Features include a Mustang II independent front suspension, a narrowed Pro Street-style rear axle, a custom bed with a mahogany wood floor, and a tilt steering column. Finished in deep purple-blue with accent stripes over a blue vinyl interior, this Dodge truck is available now and comes with build history, parts manuals, an uninstalled blue and gray cloth bench seat, and a clear Maryland title in the seller's name.

EXTERIOR – FEATURES

During the frame-off restoration, the exterior was finished in deep purple-blue with multicolor stripes. Features include front turn signals, custom headlight buckets, a three-piece hood, ribbed mahogany running boards, a driver-side mirror, suicide doors, a custom bed with a mahogany wood floor, and custom taillights.

EXTERIOR - WHEELS AND TIRES

A set of 14-inch front and 15-inch rear slotted aluminum wheels is wrapped in 195/70/14 Goodyear Eagle ST front and 31” x 18.50” x 15" Mickey Thompson Sportsman rear radial tires.

INTERIOR – FEATURES

A pair of padded aluminum-frame bucket seats are upholstered in blue vinyl. Features include a floor-mounted manual transmission shifter, woodgrain trim, a tilt steering column, a body-color dashboard, gray vinyl door panels and headliner, and manual windows, steering, and brakes.

INTERIOR – GAUGES

A set of VDO gauges that includes a 120-mph speedometer, a 7K-rpm tachometer, a clock, and readouts for the fuel level, coolant temperature, oil pressure, voltage, and oil temperature is located ahead of the driver. The odometer shows 1 mile, but the true mileage on this vehicle is unknown.

ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION

Power is provided by a supercharged 350ci V8 and backed by a Muncie M21 four-speed manual transmission. According to the seller, the clutch, bearing, resurfaced flywheel, and shifting forks are new. Underhood features include a polished Dyer’s Blowers Inc. 671 supercharger, dual Edelbrock carburetors, a newer bottom pulley for the supercharger belt, finned aluminum valve covers, a newer high-efficiency aluminum radiator, and a polished Mr. Gasket Street Scoop.

UNDERCARRIAGE

The frame has been modified with the installation of a Mustang II front suspension, manual rack-and-pinion steering, adjustable front shocks, adjustable upper control arms, and a narrowed nine-inch Ford rear axle mounted with a four-link setup and coil-over shocks. A full-length dual exhaust system with Flowmaster mufflers exits through the lower rear bodywork. Braking is provided by manual Wilwood front discs and rear drums.

ADDITIONAL DETAILS

The sale includes build history, parts manuals, and an uninstalled blue and gray cloth bench seat.

@spaceks390 – The truck is located in Maryland. Certain models of truck in 1935 only had a hand wiper. At the time of the photograph I had removed the existing one as I was searching for a new one that is polished. I don't have information on the engine block currently. I will try to obtain information from casting numbers, or any that i can find. ...

Thank you
