1972 CHEVROLET K5 BLAZER

OVERVIEW

This restored 1972 Chevrolet K5 Blazer is powered by a rebuilt 350ci V8 engine backed by a rebuilt TH350 three-speed automatic transmission and a dual-range transfer case. Features include power steering and brakes, R-134a air conditioning, a removable hard top, a tilt steering column, bucket seats, a center console, 20-inch XD wheels with new 33-inch tires, and a four-inch suspension lift. Finished in metallic red and equipped with a black removable hard top over a reupholstered red vinyl and fabric interior, this Blazer is available now and comes from the selling dealer with a clear Minnesota title.

EXTERIOR – FEATURES

During the restoration, the exterior was finished in metallic red. Features include chrome bumpers, a silver grille with chrome trim, dual mirrors, a cowl-mounted antenna, a black removable hard top, and tailgate trim. A walk-around video can be seen below. 

EXTERIOR - WHEELS AND TIRES

A set of black 20-inch XD wheels is wrapped in new 33” x 12.50” Aptany radial tires.

INTERIOR – FEATURES

The cab interior was resprayed red, the front bucket seats and the rear seat were upholstered in red vinyl with red cloth inserts, and new red carpeting was installed as part of the restoration. Features include a gloss red center console housing a storage compartment and cup holders, a floor-mounted transfer case shifter, a digital AM/FM stereo with new 6" x 9" rear speakers, a chrome tilt steering column with an automatic transmission shifter, a three-spoke billet steering wheel, R-134a air conditioning, power steering, power brakes, and manual windows.

INTERIOR – GAUGES

A 100-mph speedometer and gauges for the fuel level, oil pressure, coolant temperature, and voltage are located ahead of the driver. The odometer reads 192 miles, but the true mileage on this vehicle is unknown.

ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION

Power is provided by a rebuilt 350ci V8 and backed by a rebuilt TH350 three-speed automatic transmission and a dual-range transfer case. Underhood features include black valve covers, an Edelbrock aluminum intake, HEI ignition, a chrome air cleaner, and tube exhaust headers.

UNDERCARRIAGE

This Blazer is equipped with a solid front axle and a solid rear drive axle with a part-time four-wheel drive system that has been serviced by the selling dealer. Braking is provided by power front discs and rear drums. A four-inch suspension lift has been installed.
