Vehicle Story

OVERVIEW

This frame-off-restored 1951 Chevrolet 3100 five-window pickup is powered by a 235ci inline-six engine backed by a four-speed manual transmission. Features include a tilt steering column, upgraded exterior lighting, a Boss AM/FM/CD stereo, and a wood bed floor. Finished in red over a red vinyl interior, this Chevrolet Advance-Design pickup is available now and comes from the selling dealer with a clear title.

EXTERIOR – FEATURES

During the frame-off restoration completed less than a year ago, the exterior was finished in red. Features include chrome bumpers, a chrome grille, modern headlights, a split windshield, dual mirrors, silver running boards, a stepside bed with a wood bed floor, and custom LED taillights.

EXTERIOR - WHEELS AND TIRES

A set of 16-inch black steel wheels with chrome Chevrolet hub caps and trim rings is wrapped in 215/85/16 radial tires.

INTERIOR – FEATURES

The bench seat and door panels are upholstered in red pleated vinyl. Features include a Boss AM/FM/CD stereo; manual windows, steering, and brakes; a floor-mounted manual transmission shifter; a tilt steering column; and a four-spoke wood and leather steering wheel.

INTERIOR – GAUGES

A set of Dolphin gauges includes a 140-mph speedometer and readouts for the fuel level, oil pressure, temperature, and voltage. The odometer reads 177 miles, but the true mileage on this vehicle is unknown.

ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION

Power is provided by a 235ci inline-six engine and backed by a four-speed manual transmission. Engine bay features include a body-color firewall, a blue engine block and valve cover, a single-barrel carburetor, a closed-element air cleaner, and an external oil filter.

UNDERCARRIAGE

This pickup was factory-equipped with a solid front axle and a solid rear drive axle. The frame and suspension parts are finished in matte black. The cab and bed underside are color-matched to the exterior. A full-length single exhaust system exits at the rear. Braking is provided by manual four-wheel drums.
