OVERVIEW
This 1959 Ford Galaxie was previously owned by Dennis Carpenter of Dennis Carpenter Ford Restorations. Power is provided by an FE 352ci V8 and backed by a Cruise-O-Matic three-speed automatic transmission. Features include an AM radio, dual mirrors, and rear fender skirts. Finished in Raven Black over a Torch Red, Raven Black, and cream interior, this Galaxie is available now and comes from the selling dealer on behalf of Dennis Carpenter's estate with a clear title.
EXTERIOR – FEATURES
The exterior is finished in the original color of Raven Black (code A) as verified by the door trim tag. The selling dealer states that the paint is in fair condition with age-related damage on the hood, roof, and trunk. Features include re-plated chrome bumpers, dual mirrors, a fender-mounted antenna, side trim, rocker and quarter panel trim, stainless steel fender skirts, and rear body trim. The selling dealer states that rust is present on the right front fender and the chrome shows signs of pitting.
EXTERIOR - WHEELS AND TIRES
A set of black 15-inch steel wheels with full hubcaps is wrapped in Hankook whitewall radial tires.
INTERIOR – FEATURES
The front bench seat and the rear seat are upholstered in Torch Red and cream vinyl with Raven Black cloth inserts. Features include manual windows, brakes, and steering; a red vinyl dash pad; and a column-mounted automatic shifter. The selling dealer states that the AM radio does not work.
INTERIOR – GAUGES
A 120-mph speedometer and gauges for the fuel level and coolant temperature are located ahead of the driver. The odometer reads 23,995 miles, but the true mileage on this vehicle is unknown.

Power is provided by an H-code FE 352ci V8 equipped with a four-barrel carburetor and a Cruise-O-Matic three-speed automatic transmission. The engine comes equipped with a newer battery and a new water pump, bearings, belts, and hoses.

Let's get it going now y'all!! This 59 Galaxie is a great original survivor! From the videos you can see it cranks right up every time and runs and drives just fine. We believe the engine is original to the car, but we have no documentation. Yes, it could use a little TLC as it is unrestored, but the engine does have new bearings, water pump and hoses/belts! Happy bidding!!!!

The driving video will be loaded shortly online. According to the speedo I was up to 40mph, it drives very well for an unrestored vehicle. It drives like a 1959 Ford Galaxie and I was quite impressed ;) The driving videos should give you a nice impression of the great start-up and running of the vehicle.

@absales – I'm loading my driving video now to submit to AutoHunter for you to view. No faulty issue on the light. It's the Generator light and comes on when you crank the car and idle. It is not on when driving. Stay tuned please... ...
