OVERVIEW
This 1956 Chevrolet 3100 restomod stepside pickup was given a frame-off restoration completed in 2021 and is powered by a crate-sourced 350ci small-block V8 mated to a 700R4 four-speed automatic transmission. Equipment includes four-wheel Wilwood disc brakes, a smoothed dash, U.S. Mags chrome wheels, and oak bed planks. Finished in Vitamin C Orange over a black vinyl interior, this custom Chevrolet 3100 is now offered by the selling dealer with a clear Oregon title.
EXTERIOR – FEATURES
The body was dressed in Vitamin C Orange during the frame-off restoration process. Exterior features include a color-matched front bumper, chrome headlight bezels, an egg crate-style grille, dual mirrors, an embossed tailgate, and a rear roll pan. The bed is lined with oak planks secured by body-color hardware.
EXTEROR – WHEELS AND TIRES
The U.S. Mags Bullet chrome wheels are wrapped in Nankang tires.
INTERIOR – FEATURES
The refurbished interior of the cab is fitted with a black vinyl bench seat with matching materials for the door panel cards and carpeting. The body-color dash has been smoothed. Amenities include floor mats, a custom console with cup holders, and a chrome tilt-adjustable Flaming River steering column.
INTERIOR – GAUGES
Instrumentation includes a 100-mph speedometer along with gauges for the coolant temperature, voltage, oil pressure, and fuel level. An auxiliary tachometer has been mounted under the dash. The five-digit mechanical odometer reads 21 miles.
ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION
The crate-sourced 350ci small-block V8 has been upgraded with tubular headers, an aluminum radiator, and a serpentine-belt accessory drive system with polished pulleys. Power is fed to the rear wheels via a floor-shifted 700R4 four-speed automatic transmission.
UNDERCARRIAGE
A lowered stance is provided by QA1 shock absorbers. Steering and braking are power-assisted. The braking system has been upgraded with four-wheel Wildoowd disc brakes.

What a beautiful build. But apparently no A/C and gas tank still behind seat.
No mention of AC or heater cooling system? I’ve looked. May have overlooked your comments but no one would do so complete a restoration and not add AC, correct?
