1969 Plymouth Road Runner

This 1969 Plymouth Road Runner shows 95k miles and was the recipient of a professional restoration with special attention to maintaining factory fit and finish. The car features factory-correct badging, refinished chrome, a dual exhaust system, and auxiliary gauges. It is powered by a 383ci V8 paired with a 3-speed automatic transmission. Finished in Bright Green Metallic over a black vinyl interior, this first-generation example is now offered by the selling dealer with a clear Michigan title.

This Road Runner was professionally resprayed in Bright Green Metallic as part of the restoration and features chrome trim, factory-correct emblems and decals in the proper locations, and a polished dual exhaust system.

Factory 14” color-matched steel wheels with center caps are wrapped in redline tires of unknown age.

The interior is fitted with reupholstered black vinyl bench seats and matching door panels, dash, and carpet. Amenities include a heater, a factory Solid State AM radio, and a custom fabric-lined center stack with a late-model Chrysler AM/FM/cassette head unit. A Road Runner decal is affixed at the passenger side of the dash and embroidered floor mats are found in the footwells.

Instrumentation is framed by a 3-spoke, wood-rimmed steering wheel with a Road Runner horn decal and consists of a 120-mph speedometer, gauges for fuel, coolant temperature, and oil pressure, and a Bosch 8k tachometer. Additional oil pressure and coolant temperature gauges are part of the custom center stack. The 5-digit mechanical odometer reads under 95k miles, which the selling dealer asserts is accurate.

The 383ci V8 is equipped with a 4-barrel carburetor and is mounted within a fully detailed engine bay. It was factory-rated at 335 horsepower and 425 lb-ft of torque when new. Power is transferred to the rear wheels through a 3-speed automatic transmission and a column-mounted shift lever.
