@Farmer40 – When was the motor replaced? Was the Camino rewired at that time? Are the gauges, speedometer and wipers non-functional, that is, not working at all and requiring replacement, or were they just not reconnected after the other modifications were completed? ...
I don’t know exactly when the motor was replaced, I believe the restoration was completed around 8 years ago and I would assume this is when the motor was replaced as well. I believe the car still retains its original wiring harness. I have not dug into the issues with the gauges and wipers, judging by the fact non of them are working I would assume that the wiring harness to the gauge cluster is disconnected, I cannot speak to condition or the connectors but hopefully would be a relatively easy fix for someone with experience wiring systems from this era.
@Timmarks – Pictures of rear bed. Please.Sure would be nice to have gauges and windshield wipers working really would make the car worth bidding on. Tim ...
Here is a photo of the bed. Understandable that the issues with the gauges and wipers may deter some bidders. Hopefully we will be able to make a deal on the car as is!
