Vehicle Story

This 1993 Land Rover Defender 110 Crew Cab was the subject of a frame-off restoration which encompassed the replacement of all body panels and windows, the hood, roof, and doors, fitment of numerous upgraded parts, and refreshing of the interior with new seats, carpeting, door panels, and more detailed below. Equipment includes air conditioning, and power comes from a 2.5-liter diesel inline-four backed by a 5-speed manual transmission. Finished in black over a black interior, this 1993 Land Rover Defender 110 is offered on a clear Florida title in the owner's name.

According to the seller, this 1993 Land Rover Defender 110 was the recipient of a frame-off restoration effort, and photos document the removal of the body from the frame and replacement of much of the sheet metal. All of the body panels including the bulkhead, the doors, roof, windows, fender flares, and the front grille were replaced per the seller, who also lists replacement of the bumpers, including the front end, which has a winch. A roll bar was fitted at the rear along with an external step, and front-end lighting has been upgraded. Fender protectors are fitted on the front end with KBX air intakes, running boards are installed on both sides, and a skid plate is present underneath.

Black 16" Sawtooth five-lug wheels are wrapped in 235/85 all-terrain tires.

The interior contains seats, carpeting, door panels, and a headliner that have been replaced per the seller, and front occupants are divided by a center console. The steering wheel was also replaced, and the shifter for the 5-speed manual transmission is mounted on the floor beside the transfer case lever. The seller adds that dashboard parts have also been replaced, and photos show a vent pod for the climate control system mounted below the instrument panel.

The gauge cluster houses a tachometer and speedometer, along with instruments for the fuel level and coolant temperature, and an array of warning lights for other vehicle systems.

The 2.5-liter diesel inline-four is described as having been overhauled under prior ownership. Power is sent to all four wheels through a 5-speed manual transmission and a dual-range four-wheel-drive transfer case, and photos of the engine bay show a new air conditioning compressor.

Photos documenting the frame-off restoration are included in the photo carousel.
