This 1964 Pontiac Grand Prix sport coupe was originally a California car and also sports PHS documented twin trim tags and 81,761 odometer miles. Power comes from a 389ci V-8 mated to a 2-speed automatic transmission and equipment includes power steering, power brakes, power windows, factory air conditioning, 8-lug wheels and bucket seating with a center console. Located in Grand Rapids, Michigan, this "gentleman's muscle car" is offered for sale by the selling dealer with a clean title.
The car is PHS documented as a twin trim tag example with the first trim tag denoting the factory color as "special" while the second decodes as Goldwood Yellow which was offered as a 1964 Impala color by GM. Fit and finish are said to be excellent with properly aligned body panels and a reverse light rear bumper which is noted to be incorrect for the car but still in great shape along with the rest of the chrome.
Power brakes and power steering are equipped to handle a set of the correct 8-lug aluminum wheels wrapped in whitewall tires.
Bucket seating and door panels are covered in the correct black vinyl upholstery and separated by a center console on top of clean black carpeting. Retractable seat belts are equipped along with power windows, factory air conditioning and AM/FM radio.
A horizontally opposed 120-MPH speedometer is housed front and center and flanked by readouts for battery voltage and fuel level. Additional gauges include a dash-mounted dial for manifold vacuum, analog clock and 81,761-mile odometer.
An all-black engine bay is home to a Pontiac blue 389ci V-8 mated to a 2-speed automatic transmission and equipped with a 4-barrel carburetor and factory correct air clear, hoses and wiring components. Power output was factory rated at just over 300 horsepower and the seller confirmed the car run and drive without any notable issues in performance or gear selection.
A dual exhaust system is hung on the underside which is noted to show some small signs of corrosion.

@TexVette – Can you please provide information as to which gauges and accessories work correctly? ...
I just checked: the radio, fuel, amp gauge, headlights, blinkers, horn etc. all work. What doesn't work is the clock, AC, and the vacuum gauge on the center dash.

@RWE – Does it run and does everything work..........😊😊😊 ...
I stand corrected, it is a 3 speed and this is how everything is spelled out with the P-N-D-S-L-R: In the familiar Oldsmobile and Pontiac shift quadrant, P-R-N-D-S-L or P-N-D-S-L-R, the "S" quadrant was for "Super" and not second. This shift arrangement with the "S" only applies to floor shift Pontiacs and all Pontiacs in 1964. In previous Pontiacs including 1963 models with column shift the shift quadrant read 'DR' which refers back to the old Dual Range nomenclature which means drive left is fourth range and drive right is 3rd range. In the earlier four-speed Hydra-Matic, the "S" or "Super" quadrant (only used by Oldsmobile and floor shift Pontiacs and all 1964 Pontiacs) was actually third gear, allowing 1-2-3 shifts. This nomenclature was also used by Mercedes-Benz with the introduction of the four-speed type-3 automatic transmission. As with the Hydra-Matic, the "L" position was actually 1st and 2nd gears, holding the transmissions from shifting above 2nd gear. In Roto the L position meant 3.50 as first range, changing due to 2.93. Roto engineers consider this two driving ranges.
