OVERVIEW

This 1972 Ford Mustang Mach 1 Sportsroof is presented as a true Q-code car powered by a Cobra Jet 351ci V8 mated to a C6 three-speed automatic transmission. Equipment includes front and rear spoilers, a Ram Air hood, Magnum 500 wheels, power steering, power front disc brakes, air conditioning, and a dual exhaust system. ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION

The Q-code 351ci Cobra Jet V8 has been upgraded with an Edelbrock intake, a Holley carburetor, and headers. Power is routed to the rear wheels via a C6 Cruise-O-Matic three-speed automatic transmission and a nine-inch rear end.

UNDERCARRIAGE

Stopping ability comes from power-assisted disc brakes up front and drums in the rear. Steering is power-assisted.
